2. Personal data we process

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, your child's age (optional), and the content of your message. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, request timestamps) for security purposes.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process the data you submit to respond to your enquiry, schedule a consultation, and pursue pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Swiss nFADP Art. 31(2)(a) provides an equivalent legal basis.

4. Processors and recipients

We rely on the following processors to operate the website. All EU / US transfers are covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU – US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertising networks.

• Netlify, Inc. (United States) — website hosting, edge functions, form submissions.
• Adobe Inc. (United States) — Typekit font delivery (use.typekit.net). Fonts only; no profiling.
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) — YouTube video embeds via the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Cookies are set by Google only when you click play.
• OpenStreetMap Foundation (UK) — location maps in the "Locations" section.
• WhatsApp / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) — only if you initiate a chat via our WhatsApp link. Subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

5. Retention

Contact form enquiries are retained for up to 24 months, unless you become a patient — in which case applicable Swiss medical record retention obligations apply (typically 10 years). You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and Swiss nFADP, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to post@apexaqla.ch.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU data protection authority.

7. Cookies and consent

We do not set tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The site uses one functional localStorage entry (apexa.consent.v1) to remember your consent choice from the banner shown on first visit. Third parties may set their own cookies only when you trigger their feature (e.g., clicking a YouTube video's play button).

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
